Angelica Morales, B.S.
B.A. in Biology, Stanford University
Ms. Morales' dissertation is based on using structural magnetic resonance imaging and diffusion tensor imaging to establish the distribution of deficits seen in methamphetamine dependence. She is investigating whether these deficits link to behavior that reflects aspects of impulsivity. Furthermore, Ms. Morales is researching whether any of these structural deficits are reversible after protracted abstinence and if recovery can expedited with behavioral interventions.
