POSTER SESSION & NEW INVESTIGATORS PANEL
CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

Poster Session

The NHSN 2010 international conference will feature its annual Poster Session, designed to showcase ongoing research projects of NHSN members with the hope that this activity will generate discussion and create linkages for collaboration. The Poster Session is a forum for researchers to present empirical findings, new theoretical advances, innovative preventive interventions and treatment approaches, and conceptual or methodological issues relating to the mission of the NHSN.

The mission of the National Hispanic Science Network on Drug Abuse is to improve the health of Hispanics by:

1) increasing the amount and quality of interdisciplinary translational research on drug abuse; and

2) fostering the development of Hispanic scientists in drug abuse research. NHSN national and international research scientists and graduate students are welcome to submit abstracts for consideration for the Poster Session.

As in previous years, a limited number of travel awards will be available for graduate students and early career scientists presenting posters
